“Half Myself” is a collage merging the barbie doll and myself together in various abstractions. Blurring the lines between doll and girl. I explored the negative space with my body vs. plastic. This process allowed me to confront the superficiality and limitations I often felt as a model, as well as the societal pressures tied to appearance and body size.
